One Saturnine cycle is 7.5 years, that is, he stays in a Zodiacal Sign for 2.5 years, or one degree per month. In 3 Zodical Signs, viz in the 12th, 1st and 2nd, he causeth the 7.5 year Saturnine cycle called Elarata Saturn.
In a human life span, he causes ES thrice, as his sidereal period is 30 years.
The first Elarata Saturn is called Mangum Sani or Depressing Saturn.
The second E S is called Pongum Sani or Rising Saturn.
The third ES is called Pokku Sani or Going Saturn.
The first ES is bad, as he can devastate. The first ES caught me when I was 18 years old. Till 25.5 years, he was ruling and he made me suffer horribly. There was Sthanabramsam, as I had to leave Kochi, where I was studying. I left for Bombay in search of a job.
Now I am undergoing the second ES, which is good professionally, but is full of tension.
The second ES is paradoxical. It will elevate a man professionally, but will create tension in his psyche. It will affect his physique and psyche adversely. It will devastate his purse also. ( Dhanakshyam ).

The day belonged to Wasim Jaffer !
W Jaffer not out on 192 and clearly the day belongs to him. This is reminiscent of the 220 not out of Sehwag on the first day, when he scored his triple century.
Sachin again failed to score a hundred.
D Karthik continued his miserable form with the bat, as he was out to Tanvir. Dravid played well for his 50!
I expected the in form Yuvraj instead of Karthik, with Ganguly opening the innings. That was not to be, as the selectors kept the same victorious XI. Maybe Yuvraj will be in for the next Test. If India wins this Test, there will be a lot of new faces in the Indian team !
Talking about Yuvraj, his six sixes were hit off a quality bowler, Stuart Broad. Comparitively speaking, his feat was greater ( as it was in a World Cup match ), as Sastri's feat was against a mediocre Baroda in a Ranji Trophy and Gibb's against a mediocre Holland & Sobers againt Malcolm Nash of Glamorgan in a county match. So we find that Yuvraj's feat is of a higher calibre than the other three feats ! That too Stuart Broad is an excellent bowler and a find for England. Anyway, Yuvraj was not badly rewarded, he got one crore for his feat !

Sri Ram’s Horoscope & the Preservation of Astrological Knowledge
Published by Thea, 2 weeks, 2 days ago
An exchange between Patrizia Norelli-Bachelet (Thea), President of Aeon Trust and Director of Aeon Centre of Cosmology in southern India, and SaiSrinivasan, Executive Officer, Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Administration Department of Government of Tamil Nadu [1] and Trustee of Aeon Trust.
SaiSrinivasan: I have reproduced here the horoscope of Sri Ram from a book which I have with me. In fact my father was worshiping Sri Ram’s horoscope in his pooja room.
First house – Sun, Mercury.
Second –
Third – Kethu.
Fourth – Lagnam, Jupiter, Moon.
Fifth –
Sixth –
Seventh – Saturn
Eighth –
Nineth – Rahu
Tenth – Mars
Eleventh –
Twelveth – Venus.
The month is Chitra, Nakshatra is Punarvasu and Zodiacal sign Cancer according to Valmiki Ramayana. But the dates differ now because of Nirayana. . . .
Patrizia Norelli-Bachelet: Yes, Sai, this is correct, this is the horoscope that is given out as Sri Ram’s, but of course it is not his actual horoscope. Nonetheless, it is interesting because daily your father was worshiping the sacred art of astrology through this horoscope, though it was not Ram’s, and doing his part to preserve the ancient Knowledge even without realising it. It was the chart as of the IDEAL MAN that the 7th Avatar incarnated, hence Ram was the best channel for this ‘ideal’ preservation. To illustrate: the Sun is in Aries (Chitra) which is its EXALTATION . . . . Thus, they are in the 3rd and 9th in Ram’s chart as well. The important sign/house is the fourth, Cancer, and this would be interesting for those Dakshinamurthy temples, giving the proof of the EXALTATION OF JUPITER IN CANCER, the fourth sign of the tropical zodiac, the ’south’ Cardinal Point. It is ruled by the Moon, and so they locate the Moon in that sign/house also. Since it is considered his ‘lagna’ or ascendant, they read it as being his birth sign, and not where the Sun is found (Aries), as we do today, but rather Cancer. It is of course interesting that Cancer is the last sign of his descent as the 7th Avatar. The 7th Manifestation of Ram, according to my Map of the 12 Manifestations [2], would consist of the signs Virgo, Leo and Cancer. Then the hand of the Time-Spirit moves on to start the 8th Manifestation of Krishna and the first sign met is Gemini. (This is all according to the Precession of the Equinoxes which moves BACKWARD through the zodiac. See The Gnostic Circle for all details. [3]) For me this sign of the twins, Gemini, is really Luv and Kush, Ram and Sita’s twin sons. They carried the legend of Ram throughout the land it is said. You could say they prepared the way for Krishna’s appearance 6000 years after Ram in the 8th Manifestation. The Twins opened the way and Gemini, the sign of the Twins, indicates their part in the Descent. They appear in this way as the carry-over from Ram’s appearance to Krishna’s, 7th to 8th, with Gemini, the Twins as the bridge. How beautiful. How coherent. . . . To continue:
– Saturn is located in Libra, the 7th sign/house, and that is Saturn’s EXALTATION
– Mars is located in the tenth sign/house which is Capricorn its EXALTATION
– Venus is located in the twelfth sign/house, Pisces, where it is in EXALTATION.
So, you see, this is clear proof that Ram’s horoscope was only to preserve the knowledge of the signs, rulership and exaltations, which is the basic structure of astrology and what needs to be preserved in times of darkness and attacks. Every planet is in EXALTATION or RULERSHIP. By making it Ram’s ‘horoscope’, it was assured that his devotees, such as your father, would help to preserve the Knowledge down the ages by means of his daily worship. Obviously to actually believe that this was the configuration of the heavens at the time of his birth is to miss the point entirely. But this is an example of just how completely the Knowledge had been lost. No one realised the truth! Researchers continue today to try and ferret out when in aeons gone by the heavens reflected this arrangement so as to know the date of Ram’s birth! Of course that never happened. They have missed such an obvious point! What a beautiful example this has been . . .
By the way . . . this is conclusive proof that the Tropical Zodiac and NOT the Nakshatras has been the system all along. For as long as this ‘horoscope’ of Ram’s has been circulating, it has been the Sayana system. Everything I have indicated in my analysis of the chart was entirely with the Tropical Zodiac. There is no Nakshatra business at all involved. In fact, with the Nirayana system you would not be able to understand what Ram’s horoscope really means. All the rulerships, exaltations, and so forth, are properties of the Tropical Zodiac. My Lord, what a mess India is in. This Niryana deviation has brought a terrible darkness to prevail . . . Thea

Indian players rise to the occasion at Delhi
Kumble attributed the Delhi Test victory to professionalism and commitment to the game. Ravi Shastri wrote that the differene between the two teams was the difference between the performance of the captains. This is the first time, he writes, that every member of the Indian team had contributed ! When Laxman and Dhoni became the Saviours in the first innings, the three Muskateers ( Dravid, Ganguly and Sachin ) became the Saviours in the second! Jaffer also shone in the second innings. Zaheer and Kumble led in bowing and D Karthik, even though he couldnt bat well, ran out Misbah and caught him in the second innings.
On the other hand, the Pak stars did not rise to the occasion. Younus, Khan and Shoaib Malik did not fare well. Sami could not impress with his bowling. He couldnt even match Ganguly's bowling performance.
Pak was formidable under Imran Khan and Wasim Akram. Now the captain is not so assertive like the abovementiioned stalwarts. Is this the cause for Pak not asserting themselves in ODIs and Tests ?

Jupiter in Sag
Jove in Sagittarius is not a good factor for India, as he is in the 6th, an unfavourable house. Since he is the financial planet, India will be affected financially. Debt and deficit are on the rise, despite the 9% GDP growth.
Crude hovering over the 95 dollar mark, the sub prime crisis in the US, the general slowing down of the US market, the fall of all Asian markets - all these negative factors will affect India.
Jupiter in Scorpio was good for India and the Sensex, considered to be the barometer of the economy, touched 20000 levels. Real Estate also rose, along with construction and financial services.

India win comfortably by 6 wickets
Hats off to the three Muskateers plus Jaffer for engineering this victory. After the loss of Karthik, Jaffer and Dravid batted well, followed by Sachin and Ganguly. It was Sachin who was as solid as the rock of Gibralter, who stood between Pak and victory !
Shoaib did make inroads into the Indian batting, but he did not get the much needed support from Sami or Tanveer.
So India leads 1-0 in the Test series. It is now a resurgent India after the T20 World Cup.
Hats off to Greg Chappell who arranged this system of putting 33 players on BCCI payroll. This has fostered healthy competition amongst the players. Dravid was dropped for the ODIs. Sehwag was axed from the Test team. The statement " Nobody is indispensable " is good for the Ego- affected players. It will bring the best out of them.
I feel Yuvraj should be in for the next Test for Dinesh Karthik. Ganguly can open. It is not poetic justice to put an in-form Yuvraj away from Tests. He is in fine form like Dhoni and he should be in for the next Test.

What a thriller ! ( RSA - NZ 1st ODI )
SA needed 9 runs in 3 balls and Andre Nel became the hero ! 2 fours and a single, off the last 3 balls. SA won by 2 wickets !
Cricket has lived upto its reputation as a game of glorious uncertainties !
Bram de Villiers played well for 87, along with Boucher, 35 not out and Graeme Smith, 44.

India needs only 32 runs to win !
Sachin becomes the second highest run getter, 11185 runs, only behind the great Lara !
With Sachin on 32 and Ganguly on 48, India is poised to win the First Test, needing only 32 runs with seven wickets in hand.
Shoaib Akthar did create a panic in the Indian camp, when he took 3 wickets. Jaffer played will for his 53, followed by Sachin and Ganguly. D Karthik disappointed.
If India wins this match, it will be a great boost to Jumbo ( Kumble ) !

203 runs for India to win !
Hope our readers will not misunderstand. I found Ella Wilson's cricketing articles excellent and have posted them on the site. It is good to see another cricket fanatic write. Her dotcom www.stickiewicket.com is a success.
India at the moment is 40/1, with Dravid on 13 and Jaffer on 21.
The task is not easy. The ball is keeping low and India is batting on the fourth innings.
Danish Kaneria can be dangerous.
Let us see how it turns out to be

Effects of Annual Number Nine
Many auspicious events will take place in your
family. Your friends will admire your professional capacity. You
will get the help of your friends and relatives. You may buy new
land or building.
If you are an employee you will get promotion.Isn't
this position you have craved for for a long time? The winds of
fortune will blow in your favour.
You will get fame and reputation. The transfer to an
interior place is good. You will not walk the wrong path this year.
Even if you are subject to temptations your mind will not allow. It
will block that yearning.
If you are working under somebody you will enjoy
mixed effects. You will get promotion and rise in income. All these
will constitute happiness. Because of other's jealousy you may not
get full mental peace. If not some trouble will happen in your
family which adversely affects mental peace.
If you are doing business this year will not be so
good. Let it come as it may. You may get only marginal profit. But
a big loss awaits you. So therefore dont try to expand business.
This year will be quite prosperous.

Effects of Annual Number 7
Even if you get promotion and transfer of job
peace will not prevail in the family. There will be clashes in the
family. You will be tight financially. How can the couple live in
happiness in such a situation?
There may be some sorrowful events in the family.
Money will not be with you. All the money that you gain will be
scattered to the winds.
If you are involved in a legal dispute you will
win. You may get accumulated property. Haven't these come unexpe-
ctedly? You may gain via women. Even so there may be a lack of
contentment. You will consider your duty as divine.Happiness will
be lacking. You will now understand that money is not the criter-
ion for happiness.
But dont think that it will go on like this fore-
ver. At the end of the year you may have some lucky breaks. You
will be extolled by the superiors. You will get promotion.
Whatever you desire will bear fruit. Contentment
in the family. There may be the birth of a new born. Mental peace
can be had during the final months of the current year.
Anyway this year will give you some lucky breaks
in the end despite making you suffer in the initial months. May
you reach a peaceful state

Effects of Annual Number 6
Employees will get promotion. Income will increase
as a result. Your house will be full of contentment.
For traders this is a good year. Gains will inc-
rease. Even then there will be some difficulties. Workers will go
for a strike. They will demand more bonus. There will be quarrels
& noise. Some months may go like this but utlimately you will win.
There will be gains in profession. Strike will end
when the workers realise that there is no meaning in continuing the
strike. After that all will be a bed of roses.
Expenses spiral taking a toll of economic health
You may have to borrow. There may be difficulties even in that.
None of the activities that you indulge in will bear fruit. It wont
end in time either. As things move in a procrastinated manner you
have to change course. Some time you will feel the dark side of
Life - Sorrow. Dont worry about that.
This adversity which affects you during the first
half of this year gives rise to prosperity in the end.Contentment
surfaces after months of misery. You will do lot of good for the
family. By Grace Divine all the crises that came to you melt away
leaving you protected. Go for travel around the globe.

This year is not so good for you. You may receive
an urgent telegram. If you open it it will be a dolorific affair
for you. It will be the death of a close relative. Anyway you may
wail that the year has begun like this. But the successive days may
be far more happy.
Are you involved in litigation? If so you will get
a favourable decision. Victory is on your side. This year there is
a chance that you may be successful in lottery & betting. With
courage you can take chances in such gambling ventures. You will
triumph.
This year as the goddess of fortune graces you con-
tinously what demerit have you got? Whatever you touch will turn
to gold.If you are a trader all that you have to think is that why
you dont have enough stock. You will be a marketing success.
You will get relief from bodily ailments. Your
health will improve considerably. If you want to go abroad you will
be able to.Does everybody get the chance to go overseas? This year
you will. Utilise it properly.
You won't have much financial problems. If you are
working under somebody you will have promotion. You may get a
transfer to a distant place. Be happy with your family.
There will be peace in the family. There will be
more love in the couple. There will be relief from childlessness.
There will be a newborn in the family this year.
The goddess of Fortune will grace you week after
week. You will have more happiness than usual. Live and enjoy !

India leads by 45 runs !
India took a first innings lead of 45 runs. It may not be enough,as she has to bat on the last day.
Kaneria is bowling well and can be a threat to Ind batsmen on the fourth and fifth days.
Now Pak is 36 /0. The game continues to be unpredictable, like the stock market. That is what makes it so enchanting.
If D Karthik continues like this, Yuvraj may come in, with somebody else opening.
So far, Kumble has done well as captain. Hope Luck continues to favour him
