Dew Factor proved adverse : Murali

The dew was visible after 25 overs and that did us in, said Murali.

When Kohli got out, India were in dire straits at 114/3, in the 22nd over. Three more overs and the dew set in.

The bowlers could not grip the wet ball. Even Murali turned in exasperation, as he was intially treated with respect by Dhoni. But then Dhoni blossomed out and smashed him through the covers with awesome power.

The formidable Sri Lankan bowling was neutrallised by the dew. Remember in the 07 WC match, India were bowled out for 185. Then Dilhara Fernado, bowling at 90 mph, clean bowled Sachin for a duck and the other bowlers, Murai and Mendis cleaned up India for 185 !

Sri Lanka was fearsome, as they had the bowling to bowl a team out for less than 270. Murali had taken 7/30 against India once.

But this time, the SL team, for some inexplicable reasons, were without Fernando, Mendis and Herath. Ranadiv must have taken because he had some good performances against India. Thissara Pereira, Kulasekhara, Ranadiv took 1 one 162 ! and were never a threat to India. Even the formidable Slinga Malinga could not take hat tricks with the wet ball ! Dhoni also admitted " Even the dew helped".

So Imran was right. Dew is the make up or break up factor !.

When we said five planets transiting India's House of Luck favoured India, we meant the World Crown. And it was a good toss to lose !

When Graeme Swann complained that Dew cost England the match against BD, nobody listened. He could not grip the wet ball and the BD tailenders took BD home !

Sri Lankan tourism will receive a boost next year, as the T20 World Cup will be hosted there. In 2014, Bangla tourism will also get a boost, as the next T20 WC will be hosted there !
