Canada crush Kenya
The stands were empty and there were less viewers when Canada trounced Kenya.
Kenya's show have not been good in this World Cup. Canada got their second win in this World Cup.
Great innings by Jimmy Hansra ( 70 ) and skipper Ashish Bagai ( 64 not out ) brought victory to Canada. They put on 132 runs for the fourth wicket - the fifth highest partneship by Canada - before they were separated.
Fast bowler Osinde ripped through the Kenyan top order, to leave Kenya reeling at 57/5. Kamande had declared that his team should bat the 50 overs entire and they almost achieved that, thanks to half centuries by Tanmay Mishra and Odoyo. Kenya folded up for 198. Osinde returned with the figures of 4/26.
Canada's bowling had asserted itself in the match against Pak, when they bowled out Pakis for just 184. By bowling out Kenya for 198, they showed that the performance against Pak was no flash in the pan.
Canada were tottering at 48/3 when captain Bagai partnered Hansra. They put on a massive 132 runs for the fourth wicket, a match winnning partnership and the game was over.
