WI beat IRE easily, as Pollard and Devon Smith struck form.

IRE were bowled out for 231. Ed Joyce scored 84, Wilson 61 and the Irish batsmen could not simply match the brilliant West Indians.

Earlier, people were wondering why Keiron Pollard had not actualised his potential, after his brilliant innings for Trinidad and Tobago in the Championship League. Today he proved it by blasting 94 off 83 balls !
