The Indo England tied match fetches maximum rating !

Ind Eng game proved that "Cricket is a game of glorious uncertainties and you cant tell the result till the last ball is bowled" theory. It got a rating of 29.7 TVRS in six metros for ESPN Star Sports, the official broadcaster.

Aloke Malik,MD, ESPN Software India said "The epic tied match between India-England has created new records not just on the field but off the field as well.

"The match delivered a peak rating of 29.7 TVRs in top 6 metros according to the research agency TAM."

"This is the highest rating any ODI has got in the last two ICC Cricket World Cups. Earlier, India vs Bangladesh match had rated an impressive 10.3 TVR."

Non Indian matches are also getting a fairly good response from viewers from India. The SL Pak encounter rated 4.6 TVR.

"The Netherlands-England match too rated a cool 2.8 TVR."

"There have been lots of discussions around how consumer tastes have developed and the future of ODIs is unsure. The first two weeks of ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 have put all of them to rest." said Malik.
